In the year 2020 we all have been quarantined for too many months due to COVID- 19. The year 2020 has been a great loos for too many people at the same time it has been a beneficial year to some. The phase of quarantine has bored some people. Also, it has made most of the people work towards their talent/skills.
Lets have a look to what I did in my quarantine. On one of my weekend I woke up in the morning for my zoom class but that class got cancelled. So I thought to lets dig into my mom’s closet today.
My mom has good collection of outfits and accessories, better than mine. I wear size small to medium clothes and my mom wears large to extra large clothes. So, it was a task for me to fit into my mom’s clothes and to look good in it. I planned to pick some of her garments from her closet and ironed them. I also selected few pieces of my garments to pair it up with hers. Then I did my makeup and hair and got ready to take some shots.
In my first outfit I’m wearing my mom’s orange dress, that’s her favorite dress. I also wore her belt around my waist. I stylized the dress one sided off shoulder because the neckline of the dress was too huge for my body type. The look of the outfit was to appear CUTE.
In my second outfit I’m wearing my mom’s cardigan and neckpiece. I paired up my jeans and bralette with my mom’s cardigan to make the outfit look stylish. My mom’s accessory the flower neckpiece just completed the entire look of the outfit. The look was bold enough to make a style statement. The look of the outfit was to appear BOLD.
In my third outfit I’m wearing my mom’s accessories, dupatta and ghagra. I really liked the net dupatta and the ghagra which gave a nice traditional look to the outfit. I tried to give a little modern traditional touch to this outfit. The look was to appear MODERN- TRADITIONAL.
Here comes an end to my dress up game. Thus, I realized when you need some fresh pieces of clothes just dig into your mom’s closet and have a great day. Also, my mom’s orange dress is mine now!
